Was so inspired by the courage of Merseyside’s Alex Connerty (MOPDII), he did not have any second thoughts about become patron of his charity when asked. The 46-year-old from Crosby has taken on the role for the Walking With Giants Foundation after meeting Alex Connerty and his parents who he describes as “true heroes”. Meeting Them was a very humbling experience.“It is amazing what they are doing for their son and all the other children here in the UK.
