I have been most fortunate to attend the Walking With Giants Foundation (WWGF) convention in Liverpool twice as a resident of the USA.

It was a great experience to meet other primordial dwarfs (PDs) like me from Europe that I would not have met without WWGF's efforts to hold a great convention.

It was special to meet Paddy Ryan from Ireland because he was the only PD close to my age of 30. Paddy is a great PD role model because he has been employed for several years and drives well.

The conventions included activities, education, special treats and surprises. There were valuable discussions between families and medical workshops to review our PD health issues.

My sincere thanks to John and Sue Connerty of WWGF for organizing the conventions to create a wonderful experience for all families involved. It was great to meet some of the sponsors, who contributed greatly to make the conventions possible. I am looking forward to attending the 2014 WWGF convention and seeing all my WWGF PD friends again.
